My name is Joan Allen and I am the Community Life Director at the Village at Life Quest.  I’m a fairly new member to the management team and I’m looking forward to creating a fantastic activity program that our residents and family/friends can enjoy.  I’m ready to put some smiles on our residents faces.

I graduated at Slippery Rock University with a BS in Physical Education & Health with a minor in Gerontology.  I fell in love with the seniors and have been working in communities such as Long Term/Skilled Nursing, Memory Care, Personal Care and Assisted Living for 30 years.  It truly became my passion!!

I am happily married to my spouse Tom Allen.  I have 2 daughters; Keri & Korene and 1 step daughter; Shannon.  I love the outdoors, especially going Kayaking and hiking.  We also love to watch and attend sporting events.  I’m definitely a Philadelphia fan!!
